Amplified Specters

The Amplified Specters (アンプスペクター, lit. "Amp Specter"), also known as the Amps for short, are a mysterious multiversal-based power that lies in Shun'ei, Isla, Verse and Re Verse, which are connected to certain deities such as Otoma=Raga.

It was first alluded in The King of Fighters XIV by Kukri during a win quote against Shun'ei, but made a bigger, more prominent role in The King of Fighters XV.

History

The Amplified Specters were researched by Dolores and her disciple and son Kukri. According to Dolores's research, the Amps are the crucible of souls that connects all universes and converging all possibilities in the multiverse. However, these can only be perceived as illusions, and only a limited few are capable of meddling with them.

Those with such abilities are known as "Amplified Specters". Neither the crucible of souls nor these illusions appear naturally on this side. But if there are distortions in space-time or resonance with the Amps, such circumstances may entice them to manifest on this plane. If the crucible of souls to appear in this world, it is heavily advised to not allow evildoers to use its power, as it is incredibly dangerous and can theoretically revive those who once died in the very major past events.

Main Causer

After erasing himself and his ancestor Saiki from existence, he created a temporal paradox, that resulted in the creation of Verse and other evil entities (and, by consequence, the many souls trapped and released at the end of the XIV tournament, including his own).
